Egypt Chapter
YASA in Egypt is known as the Egyptian Association of Young Statisticians. The main objective of the establishment of this Association is to build and raise the capacities of young statisticians and provide a forum for communication and exchange of information between all young statisticians and those who have newly joined the statistical community in Egypt.
The belief in the role of youth in the process of renaissance and development and the importance of statistics in the planning and decision-making process in Egypt has been one motivating factor for the establishment of the Egyptian Association of Young Statisticians.
The establishment of the association in Egypt provided a good forum for knowledge sharing and exchange as well as facilitating career and professional development in various fields.
